inspectStreamHeader(header): StreamHeaderInfo

Inspects a stream header (the CBOR bytes, not the whole prelude) without any key.

Parameters

header

Uint8Array

The header bytes: the CBOR that follows the magic and the length field.

Returns

StreamHeaderInfo

The algorithm, the KEM ciphertext length and the chunk size.

Throws

if the header is not a valid stream header.

Throws

if the header names an algorithm that streams do not support.

Throws

if header is not bytes.
